All ingredients in these HairShots are clean. Their safety, in terms of both people and the planet, is based on regulatory guidelines and further corroborated by the Environmental Working Group database (www.ewg.com). So you can be sure they’re free from any chemicals or toxins of concern, and meet the strictest standards for your health.

While ingredients are carefully selected for your safety, if you might be sensitive please do a skin patch test first. Note that HairShots™ are concentrated and designed primarily to be used diluted in a hair product. 

Thinning Peptides

This Shot takes a particularly comprehensive approach to the issue of thinning and shedding, using 5 x different Actives that tackle the issue in 5 different ways. Bioactive Functional Keratin strengthens hair anchoring and also lowers inflammatory response; Capixyl™ inhibits DHT and free radicals which interfere with the normal growth cycle, and it also stimulates the follicle; and Peppermint Oil boosts circulation to bring more nutrients to the follicle.  We’ve also added Panthenol and Propanidol to keep hair pliable and prevent breakage. All Actives are kind to your scalp, and backed by clinical studies.

Scalp Balance

This Shot is like a facial for the scalp! It combines the gentle exfoliation of Lactic Acid to clean and unclog follicles, with 3 soothing Actives to relieve dryness, itchiness, and irritation. We’ve added the probiotic skincare ingredient Papaya Ferment to keep the scalp’s microbiome in equilibrium, and finally, a bit of menthyl lactate to leave the scalp feeling cool and refreshed. 

Insta Lustre

We’ve combined the powerhouses of shine - Crodomol STS™ and Glossyliance™ - with smoothing Buriti Virgin Oil and jojoba-enriched Definicire™, to create a Shot that instantly delivers noticeable shine and smoothness.  

Twist the base to pop the pump:

• Thinning Peptides: In your hand, mix 2–4 pumps into your second shampoo (the first cleanse helps clear the scalp), then massage into the scalp and leave for 2–3 minutes before rinsing. Can also be added to conditioner if you apply conditioner to your scalp. Between wash days, apply a small amount directly to the scalp in targeted areas (such as the hairline) and leave in.

• Scalp Balance: In your hand, mix 2–4 pumps into your shampoo or conditioner and massage into the scalp. Leave for 2–3 minutes before rinsing. Can be used every wash or as needed when your scalp feels sensitive, dry or “not quite right.”

• Insta Lustre: After shampooing, gently squeeze out excess water or lightly blot hair with a towel. In your hand, mix 2–4 pumps into your conditioner, apply through mid-lengths and ends. Leave on for 2 minutes before rinsing. A smaller amount can be added to leave-in products. Heat styling enhances shine.

Suggested Routine: HairShots are flexible - they can be used individually or mixed together in the same product. For first use, we recommend trying each separately to see how your hair responds before combining them.

One Routine: In your second shampoo, mix Thinning Peptides and Scalp Balance together in your hand, then massage into the scalp and leave for 2–3 minutes before rinsing. If you prefer a lighter approach, alternate them between washes. Follow with Insta Lustre mixed into your conditioner through mid-lengths and ends. Between wash days, apply a small amount of Thinning Peptides directly to the scalp in targeted areas.
