Dandruff is the excess shedding of the top layer of the skin of the scalp. It can have various causes, but the underlying issue is often the overgrowth of a yeast-like fungus called Malassezia, which thrives on excess sebum.
This Shot combines 3 naturally-derived antimicrobial actives - Piroctone Olamine, Defenscalp™, and Tea Tree Oil - to rectify this Malassezia imbalance and restore the normal ecosystem of the scalp. Salicylic Acid and Propanediol have been added to lift and remove flakes and to help stop itchiness and irritation.

Piroctone Olamine
This naturally-derived active has antifungal properties which help to control the spread of the dandruff-causing fungus, Malassezia. It doesn’t only tackle the flaking and itching symptoms but tackles the root cause.
Defenscalp™
A patented multifunctional plant-derived ingredient designed to naturally regulate the ecosystem of the scalp and its normal defense system. Contains Oenothein B, which is known to have anti-inflammatory properties. It also helps regulate sebum production.
Salicylic Acid
Helps to remove any build-up of excess sebum, and lift and remove flakes.
Tea Tree Essential Oil
Has antimicrobial properties that help reduce the buildup of yeast in the scalp*, which contributes to dandruff. Tea tree oil also helps wash away excess oil and flakes.

Propanediol increases the hydration of the scalp and helps to lock moisture in. It reduces irritation

Twist the base to pop the pump. In the palm of your hand, pump approx. 2 - 4 drops into any rinse-off hair product that can be used on the scalp. Mix it up and massage very well into the scalp (even better if you have a scalp massager). Wait a minimum of 2 min (the longer the better) before rinsing.
Should offer approx. 20 - 25 uses per bottle.
